The Rhön has long since made a name for itself as a world of hiking in the heart of Germany. But cyclists also get their money's worth on the Rhön Cycle Path through the low mountain range. On the 180 kilometers between Bad Salzungen (Thuringia) and Hammelburg (Bavaria), the route also runs through Hesse and thus becomes a nature and cycling experience that crosses several states. But you can find not only this cycling route in the surroundings of KUNZMANN'S wellness and conference hotel! There are numerous other larger and smaller, challenging and relaxing bike tours in the Rhön to choose from. We will be happy to support you in finding the right bike tour for you.

You don't have a bike with you? But would you like to go for a little spin during your vacation through the Rhön? No problem! At our KUNZMANN'S wellness and Ayurveda hotel you have the possibility to rent a bike at the reception in different sizes for a fee. But there is also an e-bike rental very close to our KUNZMANN'S wellness hotel. You have the choice. With your guest card you even have the possibility to use the Bäderland bus incl. bike free of charge during the summer months.

The 180 km long cycle path runs not only between Bad Salzungen (Thuringia) and Hammelburg (Bavaria), but also through Hesse, making it a nature and cycling experience that crosses several states. And the best part? You step out of our KUNZMANN'S wellness and Ayurveda hotel in the Rhön and can set off directly for a new adventure with your bike. In addition to large pastures with cattle and Rhön sheep, dense beech forests and moors, you will also ride through primeval forests left to their own devices.
If you fancy a relaxing route, you should take a closer look at this one! On 25 information boards along the way you can be informed by our KUNZMANN'S wellness hotel in Bavaria, about stages, places and the tourist offer, while you leisurely take a turn on the bike.
On the Bäderland route you have the possibility to make a tour by bike on mainly asphalted paths in the valley and still always be in the immediate vicinity of the Saale. In addition, with this route you pass four of the five spas around our wellness hotel in the Bavarian Rhön.
Enjoy the wine-growing region on the Franconian Saale and its side valleys in the vicinity of Hammelburg during a relaxing bike ride over hilly terrain.
